Bachata Italian Style: Volume 1 Beginners
If you want to learn Bachata this (and the rest of the series of DVDs) are great. Tony and Claudia are fantastic in this. Even though it is entry-level it is surprisingly good grounding and I find myself coming back to it sometimes.
The first part focuses on body movements which for such a sexy dance as Bachata are honestly more important than the actual steps. The rest of the DVD teaches a small number of basic moves which are even so really cool. Just by practicing all of this you could look seriously cool on the dancefloor (as you will see when Tony and Claudia dance, to music, the moves they just taught.)
Finally there is an amazing sequence showing an impromptu bachata dance in a bar. It was filmed on someone's phone so not professional quality but somehow that adds to the atmosphere and you will love it.
Sennheiser CX 300 Headphones 2.5mm (Black)
1 New from
I bought these for my Nokia 6220c which (irritatingly) comes with 2.5mm socket. The phone's music player software actually produces pretty good sound although I did eventually replace it with Oggplay for its FLAC support. The Nokia bundled headphones are not bad either but are not that loud and not sound isolating so basically you can forget listening on trains etc. The sound from the CX300 is lovely with the bonus that you can actually listen to it in a noisyish environment. I'm fairly careful with delicate things like headphones but so far no construction problems even though I have in fact given them the occasional hard tug by mistake. Very satisified.
