This book seems to be written in two halves. The first half is quite downbeat and describes his struggle growing up. In the second half, his mood lightens as he talks about his stand up work. One thing is for sure, he worked bloody hard to get where he is!

This guy has done it all but what amazes me is how he can remember the details and write so eloquantly after the abuse he has put his body and mind through!

This has to be the most enjoyable autobiography I have ever read - I still pick it up from time to time to read about Bez's escapades. Running from the law, scoring drugs, always seeking a buzz. Above all, he has a wicked sense of humor and the book will make you laught out loud, especially if you can relate to the era!

This book is not for the faint hearted and describes awful abuse meted out by a gypsy family on a young lad who didn't fit in. Well worth reading if you've ever wondered how they live.
