  1.  Disappointing add on

    As an avid Gears fan I was really looking forward to this, but feel let down. The campaign is somewhat short, and even playing it on hardcore first time around left me thimking 'is that it'? This really could have been released as DLC for Gears 3 and not as a full title. But hey ho, Gears was always about playing online and mainly Horde, which was copied by other developers but never bettered. Horde was vastly improved in Gears of War 3, so I couldn't wait to see what they'd done for this incarnation. Well, they've taken it away. No Horde. NO HORDE! This is akin to Coca Cola's disastrous recipe change of the 80's, what were they thinking? It seems they've given us Survival as a Horde replacement and a Domination game in some weird attempt to lure COD fans away from the excellent Black Ops 2. Well, Survival is no Horde replacement guys, and COD fans will always play COD. Please bring back our original recipe Gears soon.

  2.  Test drive patch limited

    I was really looking forward to this game, having got the original when I bought my first XBOX many moons ago. The single player game is a real disappointment, too easy and with a comical storyline and over theatrical soundbites. Online was unplayable for the first 5 weeks, as the servers were constantly down and awaiting a patch. Well the 195mb patch finally arrived and it's still rubbish online. You can't join your friends (I appeared 17 miles away from my friend when I attempted this) and if you manage to appear in front of them in free roam, they're sitting in mid air inside an invisible car. Do yourself a favour and buy the original, as it was complete on launch, or download a zx spectrum emulator and play chequered flag instead

  3.  The best online COD yet

    This is the best online COD so far, the series has never been about the single player campaign. Treyarch have really made amends for what was possibly the most full of glitches onliner ever - World At War. The only people moaning about this game are all the boring snipers out there, as the programmers have made it more difficult for them than just camping in one spot & getting headshots every time they so much as look at you through their scope. If you want a good enjoyable FPS online, you'll be mad not to buy this. It even has a practice mode, so you can have a go against AI players and blow off the rust before going against real players online. However, if you want to sit in a bush dressed like a flower and not move for 20mins, go and buy SNIPER: GHOST WARRIER instead.
