  1.  AWFUL EXTRAS-FREE RE-RELEASE AVOID!!!

This is the second review I wrote about this product but as I only gave 1 star it didn't get published.- it is only worth 1 star.
To sum up, this exclusive steelbook only contains 1 disc, like the private ryan steelbook , which means that most of the extras from the standard bluray versions are missing. I regret buying it and will stick with the original version.

  2.  VERY POOR 'LIMITED' EDITION.

I completely agree with some of the other reviews about this psp, I received mine today , expecting a numbered console , with a certificate as proof, and some other things like a memory card, earphones and the special edition game etc - but all you get is a bog standard -silver psp (not numbered), and the standard version of the game .

After paying £145 you expect something extra in a limited edition pack but get nothing , I'm so disappointed with it, the only thing good is the colour - but what's to stop sony from releasing the silver console- on its own for less than £100 at some point in the future?

This dvd shows genesis in their prime an amazing 20 years ago , i bought the vhs version back in 1991 and wore it out with continually watching it so i was so pleased when they released it on dvd. The picture and sound are top notch , and they play all the best songs including Home by the sea and tonight, tonight ,tonight ( full version)
which doesn't feature on any other dvd.
I would say that this is probably the best genesis dvd available- even better than the 1992 'the way we walk' dvd , although this might change with the forthcoming release of the the 'turn it on again tour' dvd .
it's still an essential purchase for any new or old genesis fan , buy it , you won't regret it.

  4.  WOW! bye bye xbox

I felt i had to write a review after reading the review below - this guy sounds like a typical Xbox fanboy .
I recieved my package from play yesterday -i managed to avoid the £25 price increase ,!
although the £399 i paid seems a lot it is such a a great machine just for the ability to play back bluray films - its cheaper than a samsung blu ray player on its own. which is more than likely to be the next format with only universal studios not backing the format.
Unlike the Xbox which has a tacky add on drive (just like a pc) for the soon to be obsolete hd-dvd disc .

Ok so theres not so many games at the moment but in the next 12 months gta , fifa 08 etc this is the future of gaming . and all this in one neat machine that can be upgraded if need be . top notch .
