  1.  If you liked Coach Carter, you'll enjoy this

Recently watched this great film starring Forrest Whitaker. If you've seen Coach Carter then you'll definitely enjoy this. Based on a true story, Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans and affects the lives of thousands in the town. Coach Al Collins (pre-hurricane) has assembled a great team and has high hopes for the season. The hurricane hits and has found his star players have fled the city. He must assemble a team from scratch again. I enjoyed the film, great storyline to it and great Basketball scenes. You cannot go wrong :)

  2.  Enjoyed it :)

As this movie was based on Michael Connelly's Blood Work novel I definitely had to see it. Really enjoyed what they done with the film, the casting of Jeff Daniels as Eastwood's neighbour in the film was a masterpiece I thought. Bit disappointed they changed the names around in the film and didn't keep to the original story from the story told in the book. Overall still a entertaining film.

  3.  Thrilling right till the end :)

The old saying don't judge a book by its cover, well this doesn't apply here. Book cover looked interesting so I bought it. Definitely a thrilling book, Matt Hilton grips the reader right from the beginning with intense gun action & graphic crime. Characters of Luke Rickard and Joe Hunter come up against each other on several occasions which entail in great fights. Truly a great read. Qould recommend to all in crime writers.

  4.  Awesome book once again from Connelly

The Black Echo, Connelly's first published book featuring Harry Bosch. I've began the journey through Connelly's novels in a strange way; started off with Lincoln Lawyer, then The Reversal then Trunk Music and now Black Echo. The book is fantastic and an absolute thriller wish it would be made into a movie. A Real page-turner.

  5.  A Major Disappointment

If you love Dwayne Johnson in "Walking Tall" and "Welcome to the Jungle" I'd advise to definitely stay clear from this. The plot is atrocious, you're introduced to 3 people at the beginning: Cop(Billy Bob Thornton), Driver(Dwayne Johnson) and Killer(Oliver Jackson-Cohen). It took about an hour to figure out who was "Killer" and what his storyline was. Not a lot of talking throughout the film, kind of hard to get to grip with things going on. Though the action is good doesn't do justice to the ending of the film. Great twist at the end but still i'd advise from buying this movie

  6.  You have to READ this book :)

Most definitely the best book I've read in years. I've only started getting back into reading over the last year. Getting into Simon Kernick's novels and Michael Connelly's. But by far this is an amazing novel and author. You can't put the book down it's that good. I don't think the film was as good but it done it some good. Go out and buy this book, you'll become a fan instantly
