  1.  Complete rubbish

I understand the need for self-belief and positive visualisation etc etc, but this book takes it too far. I stopped reading when it suggested that anyone affected by a huge tragedy brought it upon themselves by thinking negative thoughts, and felt like throwing it across the room in anger. Don't waste your money!

  2.  The perfect escape from normality

As a young woman, I was the perfect reader for this book. It was sexy as hell and the perfect escape from normality. I pre-ordered the sequel 'Torment' when I was not even half way through and I can't wait to read it! One of the best books I've read this year...

  3.  Self-indulgent and slightly irritating...

The first section of this book is funny and intriguing. However once you get past the first of three sections, 'Eat Pray Love' starts to drag and the author becomes self-pitying and self-induglent. Maybe it's because I am a 23 year-old reader who doesn't 'get' divorce, but I ended up thinking GET A GRIP quite a lot throughout the rest of the book.

  4.  Most interesting book I've ever read!!

Such an interesting read! 'The Host' forces you to search for your moral standing on complex issues that you will never before have considered. It's also 100% unputdownable and has caused me a few late nights! It's heartbreaking, thought-provoking, sexy, and totally original. I highly recommend it!
