Using this right now while on the phone. Works perfect with the iPhone 4 during calls and can play and skip next song during ipod music mode.

Very handy as I don't get a sore neck on long calls anymore. It has also lasted me a few months too!

got this for all my devices and mobile phones but only works on an ipod. you can control an ipod apart from volume up n down. 1 click plays and pauses it 2 clicks does next track and 3 clicks very quickly goes to the previous track, you can also record voice memo with this mic on an ipod touch with the pre installed voice memo app that comes with your ipod

Was great for the first couple of months until the cable went and the sound stopped working correctly.

Cheap at the price, but patchy in terms of performance. It does not work with the newest iPod shuffle - clicking the button has no effect at all. On the iPhone 4 clicking once did pause or play, but clicking twice or 3 times did not change tracks. Microphone works ok with the voice recorder app that comes with the iPhone 4.
Seems a shame because the delivery from Play.com was top notch

Like many other reviewers here, and on other sites these are initially excellent. In fact, they're perfect.

Allows you to connect some nice earphones to your iPhone without limiting yourself to the very limited selection of earphones containing the (essential for me) microphone and controls.

Unfortunately after only a few weeks sound cut out in one earphone and the dreaded "wiggle of the wire..." was required to bring it back. A week later and it was uncorrectable.

A shame, because the idea is spot on.

Unfortunately, despite looking after them very well they're just too flimsy.

Avoid.

I just wish there was an alternative.
