Nexxus Drivetransmit Pro Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit with FM Transmitter

I bought this as a replacement to my iTrip as I needed a handfree for the car. I was not expecting much given the low price as I have been burned before with poor FM transmitters. However this has exceeded all my expectations. Firstly it is a solid piece of kit and well built. Easy to install and easy to setup. Got it working in 5min with no issue at all. The FM transmitter is as good if not better then the iTrip it was replacing. The handfree work brilliantly. Having asked multiple folk what the quality was like on their end they all gave positive feedback and never had an issue with someone not hearing me. You also dont get any feedback or hearing yourself.
The only flaw is that the Cigarette lighter connection is very very tight. Not an issue now I have it set up but its not something I would want to be moving out of the car very often as it nearly pulls the lighter out of the car if your not careful. For this I am docking 1 star.

I bought this to play music from my HTC Desire and also to take calls whilst driving. I have been very impressed, call quality was excellent and the ease of playing mp3's through the stereo is great. You need to keep the device volume high so that it comes through clearly on the radio.

There are just a couple of things to be careful of, the fit into the cigarette lighter is very tight but I just keep it plugged in all of the time. It has places to plug in your wires to charge your devices so not really a problem. I found that that finding the best frequency (with no radio station on it!) on the move can be a bit of an issue as you are passing through different places but this can easily changed with a bit of fiddling around with it. Luckily it's quite hands free friendly as you would expect so changing the frequency isn't dangerous whilst driving!

Overall I have found this to be amazing value for money and I'm really pleased I bought it.

I got this as I wanted an FM transmitter for my car and for the money I thought id give it a go and its great! Was up and running in under a minute. Works perfectly with my HTC desire and the hands free option is good to. When a call is coming in it pauses the music you answer the call and then carries on playing the music when your done. The speech comes out nice and clear and from the calls iv had they all say they hear me perfectly with no hiss or background noises.
Iv got no regrets buying this great piece of kit!

i needed a fm transmitter so i can listen to my Ipod whilst driving , great added bonus that this can be used as a car kit too.. : D

as with minkymoo1989, the cigarette socket end fell apart. the internal fuse, metal tip and plastic connector just fell apart and ledged themselves in the lighter socket.

It is a great little device, just needs to be a little bit better in the build quality, either that or just leave it permantly plugged in to the socket.

ignoring the disintergrating bit, the bluetooth call quality was good although quiet, which is more than likely the phone, the music was very clear
