According to the Sony Ericsson website the K610i only supports the Memory Stick Micro (M2) up to 1GB.
Go to the Sony Ericsson website, choose your phone and then knowledge base and it lists a lot of phones and what memory stick they can use.
Only these models accept a memory stick micro (M2) over 1GB - S500i, S500c,K790i, K790c, K790a,K800i ,K800c,W660i

Top 100 PC Reviewer

Put this into a Sony W300i mobile phone'and it was recognised immediately and worked flawlessly. Can recommend this product , service and price. I think it should work with all the new Sony mobiles with up to date software.

 Good price for 2gb M2 & with Pro Duo Adapter a 2 in 1

This memory card will work with alot of sony ericsson phones as it come's with the pro duo adapter meaning it works in pro duo memory card phones aswell as M2 micro memory phones. i have had sandisk and sony memory cards before and there is no difference in them other than the name. At the moment i think the sony ericsson K800i and K810i only support up to 2gb memory (M2) which i think is done by sony for a reason, until they release a 4gb sony (M2) Micro memory card and in the mean time sandisk cant sell there 4gb (M2) memory cards if they want to untill sony release software updates for there phones to then support 4gb (M2) memory cards. You can update your phone by PC or by your Sony Ericsson phone (Internet Charges), So keep checking for new software updates on your phone then when there is a new software update then download it of SE site to your PC and update your phone that way. If you wanted a 2gb sandisk pro duo memory stick for say a sony ericsson w850i, for 1 pound more i would buy this 2gb M2 micro memory card as it comes with the pro duo adapter so is compatible with pro duo but you then also have an M2 memory card so really a 2 in1. At this price the Sandisk 2gb M2 Micro memory card is worth the money comparing you only get 1gb for the same price with the Sony M2 Micro memory card. I picked the Sandisk.

Does this memory card come with the adapter that you can put into you computer and save information? I already have information on my pc from my other mobiles memory stick and want to transfer it onto this one and then into my ericsson k800i.
