I've had this phone for about 2 months now, and so far I have had no problems at all. Being a hardcore texter, i tap the buttons 24/7 and they are completely fine. I have seen many reviews about the buttons being too weak and easy to crack, but I personally find them just as strong as my other previous phones. Perhaps if you have very long nails and use your nails to text, it may cause the buttons to crack, but thats same as all other phones. (concentrated pressure on a small area = ouch.) But yeah, this is an excellent phone, easy to use, good quality mp3 (surprisingly good built-in speakers), good camera (2M pix), and does most of the things that any latest phones can do. The shake-shuffle mechanism is also very cool. Also the 2 main buttons lights up everytime you use the phone, and changes colour! very cool. There are also 5 "themes" for this phone, and this is basically, like the background colour etc for menus. Each has its unique background colour, font colour, and feel to it. On the final note, transfering songs onto the phone is extremely easy, just install the CD, and plug it in, and drop the songs in! I highly recommend this phone to anyone, who are looking for good looking phones that can do most things (i mean, you dont need like 5mega pixel cam on the phone, i'd rather just get a digital camera...) Extremely good for value. It was £150 when i got this.. and now its even cheaper!!. 5/5

Great Phone - Thrown Away My MP3 Player Now!!

This is a great piece of kit and ideal for listening to music - if you get a 2GB M2 card like I've done. The video camera is great is well and the software is easy to use to move the files to my PC. +++++

bought this phone last week from the carphone warehouseei have to say i was impressed. The wallkman is amazing on this, and i got a 4GB card with mine so loads of tunes. The fitness features are also very nice. i did not experience any problems with the keys, but thats maybe cause i only used the phone for less than a day. This is because the reminders on this phone are appauling. I need a phone that the reminders are noticable on it. All that happens on this phone is it bleeps quietly once and vibrates. Everything else seemed OK with it, but if you are after an organiser with this phone aswell, i would consider not buying this, or, for that matter, any other sony ericsson.

If you are jsut after a great MP3 player (it also plays windows media songs which not many phone do) or some cool fitness features, then by all means get this phone, its good. But just the reminders are shocking for such a good phone.

thanks for reading this review, i hope it was helpful to you.

Great phone but it has 2 problems (so far - *touch wood*)

I received this phone today and i haven't had that much time to play around with it but i can tell you that it is really fantastic. The camera is great (as good a 2mp. camera as your gonna get on a phone).
The mp3 has excellent sound, however you may want to get a bigger memory card as the product only comes with a 518mb card.
The phone looks absolutely amazing and is very light and slim.
The interface is (as with most Sony Ericsson phones) very easy to use and aesthetically pleasing with several cool preloaded themes to choose from.

Bad points:
1) Really dodgy keys...flimsy and rubbish in general. There have been stories of them falling out and cracking etc. HOWEVER APPARENTLY this is a know fault by Sony Ericsson and you can send it of to them and they'll hook you up with a different key pad...so i'm going to do that asap (this is only what ive heard though, i'll verify this when i can).
2) The software for the music transfer is really good and easy to use however it takes quite a while to send music to the phone. For example I sent 56 tracks and it said it will take 236 minutes :o In reality it took much less but still longer than your average mp3 player. Then again what can you expect...it's a PHONE.

All in all it's a fantastic little phone...just the keys are bugging me...

This phone is great apart from the buttons.

I bought this phone and within a week all the buttons had cracked clean in half with no logical explantion. i took the phone back and was given a brand new model. again within a week exactly the same happened due to the flimieness of the buttons. Apart from that the phone is great you cant fault it. But in my opnion i wouldnt buy this phone you'll only be wasting your money.
