5 Cheap and effective, well worth the money!Boratsagdayev | 04/06/2007 | See all Boratsagdayev's reviews (1)This gadget did exactly what it said it would. It's ideal for copying your numbers to a replacement or additional phone, and for keeping them safe in case your phone gets lost or stolen. It has a cheap, plasticy feel to it, but works really well and has been reliable. The software takes just a couple of minutes to install, even on an old, slow computer. You then slot-in your SIM card into the device, and then plug it into a USB socket and start the "3G Super GSM Reader" program. After clicking the "phone book" and then "upload" buttons, a list of all your contacts is displayed. This can then be saved to your hard drive.Transferring the numbers to a new SIM involves the same procedure, except that you have to open the saved file, then click "download" to write the names and numbers to the new card. Easy peasy!
