this phone is the best phone in the world but why you ask have i gave it 3 stars well first il give you the possitives on it 1) the speed of this phone is amazing 2) you got real internet at your finger tips 3) its the most beautiful piece of craftmenship i have ever seen needs to be in an art gallery 4) easy to use 5) what ever is happening in your life (your lost, forgetful, in doubt or just plain bored) the iphone will be able to help. this is a great phone BUT i bought this phone for £530 for that kind of money you want to think your getting your moneys worth.

Negatives 1) this phone is incapable without working without a PC or Mac everhing needs to be synkd with your computer its like the mirror image of your computer you can only change and edit things on your computer 2) bluetooth only works with other iphones cant connect with other phones 3) you cant store anything on your internal storage except pictures 4) you are restricted on video formates 5) flash player doesnt work on any iphone so most internet media cant be viewed 6) so many great apps out there but most of them will stop working once you update the phone 7) you cant change message alerts 8) and becarful what accessories you bye for it alot wont work....... the list does go on but i cant think of them right now.

few glad i got that off my chest but just letting you know what your in for if you buy it, its a great phone but it could of been amazing its apple trying to monopolize the phone industry and thinking everyone will buy one but i wont be buying one in the future i will wait till a decent windows version is available. No more Mac for me to restrictive.

Received my sim free 3G S this morning, i couldn't be happier! slipped in my orange sim card and it locked onto the network straight away.

All the menus were in italian but after a bit of playing i found the international settings and changed everything to english.

after a few minutes i could tell it was so much faster than my 1st Gen ipod touch. things load quicker and everything is a lot smoother.

geo-tagging and GPS works perfectly. i needed to look online for the orange MMS settings and now i can send and receive pictures. Setting ringtones can be tricky but there are guides online.

sound quality is ideal and syncing/registering wasn't an issue.

if you have the money and your thinking of getting one, its the best thing you can do!

I upgraded from the 16gb 3G, and it was worth it. This is faster on both 3g and wi-fi and to launch apps and generally do the biz. The camera is great with a function to touch the screen to set the focus where you want, can edit the videos in the phone. Everything you could ever need, high quality e mail, real browser and apps for just about everything, GPS, route planning and it even makes phone calls!!!

Voice control for calls and the ipod works well, and frankly is freakily accurate.

If you have a mobile me account, there is a feature to use the GPS via your mac (or PC) to find the phone if lost or stolen, and even wipe it remotely.

Just THE phone to own!!!!

Even at the current price of 179 pounds there are much better phones available. Which when you think about how much these have been going for in the past really makes you wonder why people bother. There are docks available for other phones now which makes the iPod side of the phone not so impressive anymore. I had the 3GS on contract and even after owning it for 2 year still got good price when I had my upgrade, so yes they do hold their money but for what? I think this just proves people really will buy anything if you back it up with clever marketing.

So to sum up good phone but better out there for the money. Other down side the camera is only 3mPixels and that is really not good enough these days
