I did not understand the hype for iphones up till now. It is perfect if you are someone who likes to social network, play games and surf the internet on top of the usual functions of a phone. I never thought playing games could be this fun. I was worried about the phone language being Italian as I believe it was imported from Italy but it came in English. However the manual is in Italian. You could obtain instructions from the apple website. After popping your sim card in, you need to hook it up to the newest Itunes to register and activate your phone. To activate your 3G/internet, you need the cellular data network settings (ie APN/username/password). I obtained Vodafones' from the online help page. No use trying to ring them because as soon as they hear you have an Iphone, they will tell you they do not have settings for an Iphone as only O2 brings it into the UK. I am really impressed with its touchscreen as it is sensitive but not overly so. It is not difficult to type messages. It may be expensive but I've worked it out that I'm spending an extra £200 for the phone wif my current contract (which is quite cheap) but I am happy that I could stay with my provider and have the benefit of an unlocked phone. I could use it with other networks when I go abroad. It is a price to pay but I think it is worth it. I have never been this excited about a phone before!
