This has been working with no problems in my citroen for 6 months now!! Easy to use and set up, just a shame my citroen isn't as well built. The onlt problem i have had is the wight of the phone or Ipod on the cradle has made the lighter socket come loose! But all in all a great product!

Good value, good sounding handsfree transmitter, recomended.

I do a lot of long distance motorway driving in a lot of different vehicles and the only faults with this is the frequency somtimes has to be changed when you clash with other radio stations on the same wavelength. But it isnt hard :) and sometimes in conversation the other caller gets echo back of theyre own speech but it does'nt come through on this end :)
As for calls being too faint, just turn the volume up on your radio/ so ignore that fault in previous reviews. I have the iphone 4 aswell as the 3s and works fine with both.

  DONT BOTHER

Bought this to play my iphone 3gs music through the car radio (VW Golf). initial setup is easy and works very well..until.... you start the engine and start moving, lots of static and retuning required when driving. really dont bother.. its a great idea very poorly exectuted. gave mine to a firend a week after i bought it to see if it worked any better in his car, he put in the bin after 2 days. complete rubbish and waste of money.

Works great in a Landrover Freelander

Good strength FM transmitter maintaining a great sound once correct frequency found
Good strength stalk and cigarette lighter contact, no rotation or slip
90 degree rotation for use with sat nav works very well
Good call clarity both ends
Much cheaper than in store!

-
Some interference as with all FM transmitters I've used
Of course if the volume is turned up too high there is some feedback to the caller hearing an echo

  Excellent gadget.

This is probably 1 of the best gadgets i have purchased. It is so easy to install, practically plug in and play. I have a '54 mazda and it works perfectly (no hissing) very clear sound. I have an iphone 4, the only thing i need to do now is update my songs. If i was being picky it would be that the passenger can't see it to change songs as is it facing the driver and doesn't move, but i can live with that. Excellent item for the price.

  Disappointing

Considering the rrp is 60 pound I was shocked at how poor the sound quality was, tried numerous settings and frequencies but it didnt improve and the signal seemed to go whenever I drove anywhere

  Shame

Was really excited when i received this, but very quickly disapointed when i tried it in the car! The arm isn't strong enough to hold an iphone and it kept falling out of the cigaret lighter! The 1 star is purely based on the product, play.com have been great with all the product delivery and customer service issues so they get 5 stars.

  Installed in 57 plate Focus

Really Good product, I had been looking at for a few months, Official Apple store - 70 pound, Argos 50 pound, 30 pound on Play, so great value for money. Instaled straight into a 57 plate focus with no problems. Found a spare station and music was playing in seconds. Really good crisp sound. Hands free phone is a little quiet, but when some people spend hundreads of pounds on a hands free kit, what can you expect from this.

Overall very impressed. Car charger and music streaming is what i wanted, so hands free calling is a bonus.

Great piece of Tech at a great price

I was a bit apprehensive about buying this item when I had read the previous reviews. However, from reserching the item i have gone ahead and brought it. From that research this is a fantastic price and is nearly 20pounds cheaper than others.

When it came i put it straight into my 06 Vauxhall Astra and it fit perfectly. It took a few minutes to find out how it worked but once I had this thing worked a treat and is a fantastic bit of tech to have in your vehicle.

The one draw back is that when I have made or received a call the person has said that I have sounded far away, but I can overlook that one floor.

Overall, Im glad Ive brought it and now i can listen to the songs on my Iphone and also catch up with the latest pod casts as well as make calls whilst driving.

Used this for the first time today. It took a while to get it to fit as my power point is under the radio. It's not the most sturdiest stand and i've been told that when on a call my voice sounded distant. It does the job but I wouldn't reccomend it to a friend.
