great card, bought for my Galaxy S

Only criticism is that the packaging had space for an adaptor which wasn't included so i had to get one to transfer data from old card more easily

Great value for a quality card

So I guess I got lucky in the card that I was delivered. It's marked as a class 2, but it wrote 3.2GB (6000+ files) at an average rate of 5.1MB/s - way above what I expected.

Running fine so far on my HTC Desire and reads much faster than the provided 4GB SanDisk card.

It was a steal at 27.99.

All good! No idea what the transfer speed is, however all I need to know is that it works great. Plays mp4 movies and mp3 music without skipping or any other issues on my HTC HD Mini phone. Lovely jubbly!

  Great Price, Great Performance

Wrote a 200mb file to the card at around 6MB/sec and copied the file back to my PC at around 14MB/sec.

This was when the card was in my HTC Desire mounted as a drive letter on the PC via MicroUSB to the phone.

Can't fault it. Surely makes a mockery of the Class 2 rating?

  Excellent value card.

I bought this to use in my HTC Desire. For those wondering, the part number of the card I received is P-MICROSD16GBHC-BX.

The card I received has a little 2 on the card itself. I assume this means it's classifed as Class 2, though there are no speed ratings on the rest of the packaging. Did a quick test for the purposes of this review. 1Gb of mp3s transferred across to the phone in 3.5 minutes. The card therefore writes at 4.8Mb/s. This would make it a class 4 to 5 speed in practice.

This card is a very good price for a lot of storage space. Shame its only Class 2 which means big files are slow to transfer, but thats the only time you'll know the difference between this and faster cards.

Fast delivery too- ordered Wednesday night, arrived Friday morning- Good job Play.com!

works fine on Nokia N95 with lastest firmware (as at feb10)

In normal phone operation eg video recording/playback and camera mode there is no difference between this low speed class 2 card and my old high speed 4gb Class 4 card. I only notice the slowness when transferring files from my PC (takes about twice the time). So as long as you're not constantly transferring files from your PC the speed wont bother you.

  OK for the price.

Card arrived & works fine, but I wasn't lucky enough to get a class 4.

Mine has class 2 on it (as advertised) and is much slower than the 2GB card my BlackBerry 9700 came with. 1.8GB takes 7min to the the 2GB card but the same files take over 14 minutes with this :-(

Syncing music is my main requirement so speed is a bit of a pain!

Does exactly what it says on the tin
