Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 / Android / Sim Free / Unlocked Touch Screen Mobile Phone / Sensuous Black

This is an awesome piece of kit.Sony Ericsson have finally made a quality handset after the flawed Satio.The down side of this phone is that it is on Android 1.6,but the good news is that it will have android 2.1 operating system very soon.The phone boasts an awesome 4 inch crystal clear screen and has an awesome 1ghz processor.The camera is a top notch 8.1 megapixel with built in flash,which takes top quality photos and video footage.The touchscreen is very responsive,and the timescape feature is very impressiveThe other downside for me is battery life,but all smartphones seem to have this problem even the iphone.This phone once it recieves a software update to android 2.1 will definetly be a worthy rival to the iphone!.Overall this is a great handset that is well worth a look if you don`t fancy an iphone

Ok, so if you are of the opinion that a phone should be just for calling and texting i would suggest other devices, this one is not for you.
However if you are looking for a portable system that performs multi tasks at the very highest of levels then this could well be for you.

Is it big? Yes

Is it too big? No - not for what it does. The fact that so many people have been put off this phone for the fact that the screen is not multitouch boggles me - so what!?!? This phone can do everything that an iphone can do - and because of its operating system it will be able to do a lot more besides - and sizes of both handsets are extremely similar.

The battery life compared to the iphone is fantastic, so listening to music no longer drains your battery for calling. It looks good and feels good in the hand. Its slim and yet the 8mp camera works extremely well, plenty of apps toi get you started and many many more available free online.

Summary

A great phone in which the positives FAR outway the relatively small number of negatives. Well done Sony Ericsson

Wow!! Best phone I have ever used. Touch screen is awesome and the use-ability is so cool. Its a lovely phone and well worth the money or free upgrade if you are lucky enough.

the phone is light in weight but the only problem i have is the battery doesnt stay charged for more than one day

I had so much high hopes for this phone, reading the reviews here first, also being Android as well as a good name SE, but over the time (6+ months) since purchasing this phone I have been stuck on an old version of Android, maybe not such a problem until you try to download apps your mates have got on their HTC's etc, basically you can't things like Angry BIrds & Google Earth won't even appear in the Market place, why because SE have delayed and delayed their update to 2.1, as I write this they have just released it, but still disappointed, the phone is running very slow...still and I have started from a fresh empty phone, backing up every thing I had, then I go to download some of the things I have paid for in the past only to be told I have to pay for them again, why? If I bought COD on xbox and updated to xbox elite I wouldn't have to, even the xbox live games follow me over, very disappointed and am now using a modified Ipod touch with Mifi to receive all my calls and texts, just because I'm still stuck in my 18 month plan.
