Plantronics Backbeat 903+ Stereo Bluetooth Headphones

This headset is comfy and lightweight to wear. The sound when connected is excellent....until you step outside. I need to keep my Iphone 4 in my hand to keep it connected. As soon as it goes into a trouser pocket or outside jacket pocket the signal becomes intermittent. Making it useless for listening to music. When somebody phones they can't hear you if your outside. Works ok in the car or house but for listening to music when out and about a waste of money.

I own several pairs of wired headphones of prices from freebies up to about 100
These fit somewhere in the middle price wise but towards the top performance wise
Initial impression aside from the impenetrable packaging is they look bulky However once you have mastered the way to put them on which takes 10 minutes using a mirror you start to appreciate how good they are
They come with a charger and a natty case.
The thoughts of bulkiness disappear as you realise they are both lightweight and comfortable
Sound is excellent and so far Bluetooth connection been faultless I had to leave the room and walk upstairs before they lost connection with my HTC Desire started to stutter
Ive yet to try them outside which will be the real test.
The rubber earpieces seem to rest just in the ear rather than fit tightly into the ear canal at least the do with me. There is nothing to indicate the correct fitting of these. In fact the manual is hopeless. A very basic leaflet with tiny writing just identifying the buttons. A slightly better one is available on line.
So far the combination of the HTC Desire, The 903s and the Android player PowerAmp has made me change my mind about buying a separate dedicated Music player.
And NO MORE WIRES!

Good connection, good build quality and comfortable fit, but only good inside. They are useless outside or on public transport. You can hear them but the sound quality is very poor, you find yourself searching for more volume.
