  Review on motorola flipout

I brought this phone because it looked really cool and I liked the different cases and stuff. It takes really good photos and is simple to use. At first the phone would turn itself off randomly... After a few months it started freezing and sending texts over and over again... and now the battery last about half hour at the most I wouldn't recommend this phone. The 2 stars are because I like the look of it!

  it's not bad

got it as an upgrade, awful battery, freezes quite often, but if you use it quite a lot, (texting, talking etc) then it's a really bad choice. nice apps however apps are the ones which make the phone freeze, so it's a fancy phone, cool style just for that

Great phone for the price, superb os, small but productive,

I have had this phone for a little over 6 months now an its great. The Android OS is superb with access to just about everything you could ever need. This phone was my first look at android and i was very impressed and will be sticking with android in future.
Everythoing is sleek and fast and easy to use. and it reli is very small and sturdy, ver impressed with the build quality as im the type of person who breaks my phone every 3 to 4 months but this one ive had alot longer and mbarly a mark on it. Only advise id give you is if you are interested in the camera do not buy the phone. Its a good little 3.1 mp camera that works great in well lit rooms or in day time but a dark room or at night .
OTHER THAN THE CAMERA SUPERB PHONE.

I have had this phone for about 3 weeks now and so far so good (apart from one freeze after I made a call on it). The phone is easy to use if you are new to android. The battery does me for about 2-3 days without a charge but I do not have my 3G on all the time and not always playing on it. If it was in constant use then yes I can see it would need to be charged everyday as apps etc eat away at the battery life. But having said that all phone are the same, the more you use the more you charge!
The texting is nice with a solid keyboard that you slide out to reveal. Despite the price the phone feels sturdy when used/slid open.
The screen is an ok size for using the internet etc
The only problem I have with my phone is the back cover doesn't clip on properly and has a habit of coming off when I'm on a call, but I don't think this is a fault with all flipouts. Hopefully buying a new back will sort this.
My previous phone was the Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 mini pro and they are 2 good phones to compare. The keyboards on both are very easy to use; both have the same style of andriod on (custom for a smaller phone) which is easy to grasp and navigate, the screen I think it slightly better on the Motorola as it is wider than the mini pro so feels beter on the eye on internet/social networking sites.
For the price of this phone you can't really expect as much as a full blown smart phone, but what you do get is a nice little phone.

  Almost great

The phone is funky and has everything you expect such as texting, making calls, surfing the web, android marketplace. It seems to do everything well. But after a while the problems start, such as freezing and the phone making forced shutdowns and I also had situations where my phone freezes, so i turn it off and on again and it sends multiple old txt messages that I have sent already to people out of my phone book. Id like to recommend it, but i cant, The problems are just to big for this phone

  Horrendous

Got this phone as an upgrade and everything was fine for the first few days and then the freezing started and then the switching on and off and random points. The battery life is horrible, if you're using it frequently during the day you'll definitely have to charge it during the night. My flipout is continually freezing while trying to text and make phone calls and when sending text messages i either send mutliple and then mysteriously send texts when im asleep and my phone is off or i'm getting multiple messages coming through from friends. Going to try and get things fixed tomorrow but with such a bad experience with this phone i would urge people not to get it.

  Amazing Phone

Great for Texting, Emailing, Surfing, Music, Maps, Call quality is amazing and the Android is awesome, Haven't had an Android before but will stick with them! Best Phone that i have had. Plenty of amazing apps on the Android Market, Camera is only 3.1 Mega Pixel so bar code scanner once downloaded has problems. I ve got no idea what the 2 star rating guy is talking about must have rubbish Provider.

I got this phone as a contract upgrade!! For texting it's great. For emailing it's great. For surfing the web it's great. The android is great. The phone looks good and the full qwety flip out key board is great. So far so good! Well that's where all the good stuff ends. As a phone it is the worst phone ive ever had. If all you want to do is.text. Mail, and surf it's good. But don't get it if you really want to.make calls on it.
