I read a lot of reviews elsewhere saying how this phone was exactly like a blackberry but much cheaper, but this really isn't the case. It looks nice, feels pretty sturdy and is easy to text on (once you get the hang of it) but trying to use it like a blackberry is VERY difficult. The internet is painfully slow, to the extent where it took me 20 minutes to load up my e-mail. You have to manually check your e-mail, which isn't too much of a problem but it has to reload your entire inbox every time, which is probably why it takes so long. Loading websites is equally as painful, and the pages are displayed in quite a strange way with the text usually being too small to read.
So basically, if you're buying this for someone who just wants a good basic phone, this is a great buy. You can't find many other phones at this price with a qwerty keyboard. However, if you're looking for a budget blackberry/smart phone, this is not for you. The internet is no better than the phones that were on the market 3 years ago, so you're probably better off saving up and getting one with 3G.
