Positive Aspects: The smart, crisp screen of this stylish phone shows any image and video in high defined quality, and the light weighted and futuristic style puts a smile to any reviewers face. Plus if you have trouble from fiddling with the settings then this is the phone for you !. Also the Android software makes the uses from this phone ENDLESS !

This is also a well built phone as if you drop it nothing is broken and the smart phone continues to work perfectly.

If i had to describe this phone in three words; the would be Simple, smart and sophisticated !!

Negatives Aspects: There are no negative aspects from this phone from my point of view !

I've had this phone for a few weeks now and I love it. Very responsive, great apps from the Android market, excellent camera and swype text input is brilliant. Battery life is a downer, but just turn off all the unnecessary features like wifi, 3g/hsdpa and packet data while they're not being used. EmmaS said " I've made a few video calls", don't know how you managed that, as this phone has no front facing camera.

This is my first smartphone and I have to say - it's an incredible piece of technology. I've always been a big fan of Samsung products as they have always stood the test of time. My previous phone, the Tocco Ultra, had an awfully insensitive touch screen and I have to say, using the Galaxy Ace's screen is an absolute dream. Ideally I would've liked an iPhone but unfortunately, being a student, that just makes it financially unavailable to me so I looked for an equivalent on a lower budget. I've used my friends iPhones quite a bit and have to say this stands up for itself way more than I anticipated. Your every day usage for things like youtube, music, videos, texting, the odd phone call are rapid to interact with, there are a huge number of apps available in the market and I would go as far as saying its wifi capabilities are incredible. If it can find a free wifi signal it'll just connect instantly if it's turned on - totally hassle free! The facebook app is great and constantly gets updated - something a lot of the apps can boast. Technology gets older and older faster and faster these days, so to have an active app market constantly keeping us on our toes is amazing.

The only drawback I find is flash support. The processor isn't quite powerful enough to run flash, apparently, but it runs all the games available just fine - surely there must be something that can be done on this front by the developers! Maybe in time. The iPhone still doesn't have flash support so I guess you aren't missing out on anything really. I hope this gives a better insight into choosing the phone as I honestly would recommend it to anybody wanting high quality for reasonable price. :)

Amazing for the price, but could be improved

The phone is a great looking phone, sleek, thin (and similar looking to the iphone!) I've had this phone for about 2 months and I love it. It's a heck of a lot better than my old Nokia 5530. The 800 MHz processor is better than it's competitors, for example the HTC Wildfire S. When I bought this phone it was 300 pounds, but I see it's now about 200 pounds, which is a steal! Also, another good thing about this phone is that the WiFi is slightly faster than other phones. Little improvements that could have been made are that the processor could have been bumped up to 1 GHz, just giving a slightly smoother running and also I think the Android market needs a bit of work (But that's not really to do with the phone). All in all, I highly recommend this phone, it's great value for money, and much better than it's competitors.

Other phones I recommend are the HTC Wildfire S and the HTC 7.

I've had this phone for just over a month having changed from my old HTC Wildfire. It's sleek and stylish, very responsive and very good sound quality. When making calls it's crystal clear quality and easy to hear the other person. It's got a brilliant camera and flash for taking snaps on days out and the battery seems to last ages without a re-charge. The apps allow me to constantly keep in touch with my friends and catchup with missed tv shows during my daily train journeys. I opted for the sim free version and used a payg sim from giffgaff-sims.co.uk which enabled me to make much better use of the phone with unlimited internet. The 3G reception is excellent, and I've inserted a 32GB micro sd card to keep all my music and photos.
The screen is sharp and displays colours brilliantly, and there's also a built in radio too. I've made a few video calls and the phone book for storing names seems endless, I've managed to store everyone and it's also got GPS so there's no excuse for me getting lost ever again.
I love it.
