On my S2 running ICS, itv play, BBC Iplayer etc. all stop after playing for a few seconds, unplug from the phone and phone carries on ok, plug back in and after a few seconds of streaming it stops again.

Very disapointed.

Does not support Samsung Galaxy S3

I have no problem with this device and it works exactly how I want on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. But this was ordered to work on a Galaxy S3 and we where very disappointed to find out after getting it that the Galaxy S3 needs a specific device with a different pin layout.
Just a small warning for everyone who doesn't research this stuff as much as we should have .

I use this item with my SGS2 and Onkyo hdx22htx to play Spotify and sometimes I have trouble getting consistent sound. I'll have to place the SGS2 in certain positions in order for music to play through the receiver. Very annoying.

I brought this for my samsung galaxy s 2 and the overall picture quality and sound is good. One thing everyone should know is that it doesnt work if the power supply is not connected. It has to stay on.Also i think you have to switch the device on and reboot it to get the signal for the first time but im not entirely sure about that.Anyway its a very good product but expensive for what it is.Thats why 4 stars.Being fair here.

Exactly what you need for watching from phone to TV

I had originally bought a non Samsung cable and it kept cutting off the wi-fi when connected. So i sent it back for a refund and purchased this official Samsung cable. It works perfectly and displays everything from the phone onto the TV. The wifi works fine and I am able to stream shows etc on the phone that shows direct on the TV. Good price too for this cable so buy this one if you are after an MHL cable for Samsung Galaxy S2.

Really great. But even though it is plugged into the mains charger it is still eating up my battery. Nonetheless, great product. Very very pleased.

  Absolutely great product

Works well with Samsung Galaxy Note

Outputs the screen of the phone to the TV accurately, including reflecting whether you have it in landscape or portrait.

In applications that support it, only the video is sent to the TV - the on-screen control bar containing play, pause, rewind, fast forward and other notifications like the title of the video file only display on the phone screen, not on the TV, so that you can use the phone as the remote control without interrupting your viewing.

I'm using it with the Samsung Galaxy Note (I don't yet have a Galaxy S II to try it with). In fact the packaging doesn't mention any models specifically, just "Use only with compatible Samsung mobile devices. Refer to your device user manual"
