Otterbox Samsung Galaxy S2 II Commuter Case / Black

as the title of this review suggests, you cant fault its design as a case. it looks good and its hardy but it has a BIG fault that isn't obvious at first. When you call someone, or vice versa, 90% of the time the person on the other end hears a long rebound of their voice. You, on the other hand, are oblivious to this until it is pointed out. Once you take the case off the line goes as it should be. How this flaw slipped through otterbox's tests i do not know.

it seems to be only the Galaxy S2 that is affected by this as all other otterbox cases i have had were fantastic. ive heard of people cutting squares into their otterbox case, near to the camera to alleviate the problem, but i wasnt prepared to do that with mine.

I still use my case when im in work as i dont make calls there, only text and use the internet whilst on designated breaks.

I've had this a few months now and it really is a quality item.

It's tough and secure, yet easy to fit or remove in seconds, if for example you want to change the battery. The phone is a little bulkier with it on, but I actually think it improves the handling and it'll still slip into a jeans pocket.

All the functions and sockets are still accesible with it in place, so there is no messing around either. The supplied screen protector is the best I've ever had. You simply don't know it's there.

All in all 5 stars. Can't fault it in any way.

For people with larger hands this product is ideal:

- Tough outer shell.
- Rubber, non-slip inner case.
- Great screen protector which covers the face of the phone.

However the increased thickness of the case could cause some to lose some control when using the phone - resulting in a drop.

Altogether though I am very happy with the case and the price was ideal.

Had this attached to my SII for a week now and really like it. It makes the phone a lot heavier and bulkier but to my mind makes the phone actually feel better. My only criticism is that the 'lint-free' cloth that came with the screen-protector set left little dots of lint all over the screen. So small that I couldn't see them until I tried to put the protector on and then they were stuck to that.

Arrived on time and has a great feel to the case. The screen protector is fantastic you cant even see its there!! Makes the phone look bigger but this is obvious, you cant have great protection with an ultra thin case :)

The case is a great fit and actually makes for a more secure feel of the 'phone in your hands.

If you bought the Samsung for it's slimness, this is not the case for you. It also means that it takes up a lot of space in your pocket.

The Samsung Galaxy Sii and Otterbox are both brand leaders so it makes sense to go for this combination if you're not too bothered about your 'phone no longer looking so pretty.
