The Nokia Lumia 900 is a beautiful piece of kit - the big brother of the very impressive Lumia 800 that was released at the end of 2011. The Windows Phone 7.5 OS that is present on the Lumia 900 is brilliant, it makes using this phone such a joy. It is speedy, and clear to view in bright sunlight, with a decent battery life and screen size, the Nokia Lumia 900 looks and feels fantastic.
The reason Windows Phone hasn't taken off yet is because people are afraid of stepping out of their comfort zone (i) and they generally don't rate Microsoft phones (ii). Well they need to give them a clean slate and get rid of the pre-determined opinions, because almost everyone who's tried a Windows Phone, loves it, no matter which one they get, so I really recommend you give this phone a go and then decide what you think of it.
If the price tag is too much for you, or you're looking forward to Windows Phone 8's release in Autumn, then maybe you should consider the Lumia 800, which is available at a much lower price at the moment and while it isn't as powerful as the 900, it feels nicer to hold and performs excellently still.
Overall, you must give this phone - and Windows Phone in general - a go, you might just be surprised.
