Who mentioned anything about a phone ? . It's a internet tablet and a handy little gadget at that . You cannot make phone calls on it using the conventional SIM card's , it'll do internet calls using VOIP , it'll get your e-mails using POP but the main thing is you'll have access to the internet without hauling your PC or laptop about . Handy if your using a wi-fi kit at home like me or when you find some unencrypted signal in the street [no, dont do that , it's wrong :-] you can view the latest news or check if those old pair of holy socks sold on ebay .

You dont put your SIM anywhere in this device,

Its for use with WiFi or a bluetooth internet connection from a seperate device such as a mobile phone.

You can make calls with this using VOIP but once again you will need a seperate internet connection as well,

Hope this helps

The only way to make calls with this is over VOIP - it does not take sims cards!
