Sony Ericsson HPM-82 Stereo Headset With Remote

These headphone are amazing quality! the pause button make so you don't have to reach into your pocket and press pause or any of the buttons on your phone. just pick ot this remote and you can do whatever! change your track, turn it up or down and the remote is very small. i thought it would be pretty big but oh I was wrong. my older brother had a version of these. it didn't have the remote but the headphones were good quality. you can really hear the bass in the songs with these where I had some headphone for my phone but they were nothing compared to this! absoloutley worth all the money!

Unfortunately it didn't work with my phone (W910i). It gets disconnected often which make my phone to restart automatic... Product came in unofficial packaging.

Everyone goes on (not just in reviews on Play) about how the bass on these earphones is wonderful. It is. Very loud. But it's at the expense of clarity. If you like your drum n bass or similar 'duff tiss' music then these will probably be perfect for you. If you prefer melodic tunes and intricate harmonics then get some semi 'pro' earphones, or stick to buds or cans. I've gone back to the buds that came with my k800i - they're not great but the clarity is so much better than these HMP-82s.

I did try all 3 sizes of rubber inserts - the small produced no bass, med was perfect fit, large wouldn't go in my ear canal properly and poor sound. No matter which inserts I used I found I got interference from the thin earphone cables touching things (my clothes/face etc.) which was annoying - maybe they should have made the cables as thick as the remote control's cable.

The remote works fine with my k800i but there is a small (1/2 sec) lag when pausing/unpausing or skipping tracks. As another reviewer said you cannot fast-cue (forward or back) but then that's generally not needed for when listening to music. I bought mine from Datakits instead of Play cos they are much cheaper but it's still expensive for what (for me) is essentially a remote control to save me unlocking phone - Sony should have allowed us to skip tracks on k800i without unlocking but guess we can't have everything :)

First of all i want to say that the remote works just fine with my K800i, no lags or anything. You can change tracks, vol up and down, play, pause but you can't rewind or fastforward. Disappointed about the earphones. I'm sure are my ears that there are not good but i can't manage to fit the earphones properly. Even when i do, it's quite painfull and they slip out of the ear shortly after. Therefore i can't say much about the sound quality, but what i heard wasn't very good. I think it's my ears. Anyway, glad that they have jack in. :) (back to my old in ear buds)
Note: Try these type of headphones first, maybe your ears are not compatible like mine are.
