this phone is one of the best i have ever had.
i have had it since december 2007 and its still working fine, its still quick and still looks good even though the w890i has come out, the buttons are small but i got used to them straight away.
also i have dropped this phone in my bath twice and it still works!,
the battery life is great as well i only have to hcharge my phone once a week and still has 23% by the end of the week

I've had this phone since about September and I've got to say its one of the best phones I've owned. The walkman features are great, however the menus are a little annoying in the way they are set up (personal preference). The camera isn't as good as past models, but its ok and it records video clearly. It is so slim you barely know its in your pocket. Comes with software to connect it to your pc and has expandable memory. Has different themes to change the GUI (which is really cool) the internet facilities are good too, I use it all the time, viewing this page it looks fine and like some other phones I've owned you don't loose the signal as easily. The buttons are a little small which can make it annoying for texting but when a phone looks this good I don't really care and you get used to it as I have no problems texting on it now. Battery life it unreal, lasts for days sometimes. Well worth the buy.

A large card might be a good idea if you buy it though, a lot of memory is needed if you plan on using it regularly like I do.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Nice looking but rather unreliable.

I've had this phone for a matter of 4months or so? and the volume button has already broken, the speakers have failed on me numerous times and i have experienced random lockups.

I do not recommend this phone if you are planning to use it regularly as a music device.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Best Phone Ever!!!

I have had many other phones in the past year like the Samusung U600, Nokia N95, Sony Ericsson W810i, Compact 3, Samsung X630 but at last I believe I've found the best phone yet!

I needed a phone for personal and business use. Originally, when the W880i came out I didn't even think about buying it because I didn't believe it had what I need but I was wrong.

The W880i is the slimmest handset I've ever had, it looks quite stylish and fits into any pocket. Unlike the N95 which was quite big, I enjoy the compact W880i.

The W880i can hold upto a 4GB memory card so plenty of storage for music, files, etc...

Im sure you all know that Sony Ericsson's are great for their battery life, the W880i is very good. On average, I charge my phone up ever 7 days and talktime of around 8 hours!!! Compared to the N95 where I had to charge it up every 2 days if not less!!!

Great email function, receive and send email within seconds!!! The W880i retreives the newest emails only where as some phones would retrieve every email in your account - even ones in the trash!!!

Overall, great phone. Meets my business needs during the day, and a stylish and elegant handset in the evenings.

I think this phone is good. its sound is clear and can be played louder than all of the previous walkmans. the buttons are small but they stick out so pushing them is easy. there is no auto focus on it but i dont think it makes a difference. the screen display is bright and the photos can be viewed clearly. recommended phone.
