A good all round phone

I think the N95 is excellent it's a phone that does everything well , with regards to slow Sat Nav , try using the phone with Google Maps as opposed to Nokia's own maps and regarding the storage of pictures , create albums then you only have to show the pictures that you want to show.
Provided you put the phone on charge daily the battery life is ok it will last around 24 hour of average usage.

The phone is average to say the least. Has some good functions on it and some bad functions on it. The mp3 sound quality is good and the camera is superb for a mobile phone. The extra slide function for the media suite is really good as well. BUT the downsides are it has some issues with its battery cover, i have a few friends who have this phone and they have had to buy 2 or 3 replacement battery covers because they just simply break. Talking about the battery, the battery life is an abosolute disgrace, you will get around 1 hour and half battery life if you are constantly listening to music, or around 5 -6 hours if its just on stand-by. I have to charge the phone up every night, and then by around 1pm its bleeping for more battery power (all it has been doing is lying aroung in my pocket). The sat nav is a joke on this phone as well, it's too slow to keep up with where your going, and you have got to have a constant 3g connection, which differs from place to place. Be prepared to get lost if you use the phones sat nav as it will tell you to exit the junction on the motorway you passed about 1/2 a mile away.
On summary good phone, let down by some MAJOR issues
can any 1 help

i think the other reviewers must of had bad luck because i have this phone for awhile now and nothing has gone wrong with it, i found it awkward to get used to after just having a sony ericson. one downfall is that your pictures images and vidoe clips are all kept in the same folder so when your showing someone an image they can see all your other private pictures. the mp3 player is good easy to use good sound quality. taking pictures and videos is also good quality 5MP camera. it is a good phone with lots of adtional features you can put on yourself from the nokia website.
overall good phone cant complain.
Poor build, poor phone, shame on you Nokia!

I am now on my sixth, yes sixth handset of this model. When I first received it I was ful of admiration of the phone....then the honeymoon period was over! The phone first wouldn't load the Sat Nav, so the phone was swapped, then it started to crash more times than a crash test dummy went away for repair and came back with a new model, then it had to go away again as the phone would not connect with bluetooth and the battery life was quickly deminishing so it was repaired again. Some weeks later the phone would not charge and would not swaitch on. The model went away for reapir and the handset was swapped. A few weeks later the camera failed to work, once again it went for reapir and was swapped -again! This time to Sat Nav once again does not work and I am now awaiting new handset. PLEASE do not purchase this phone, or the fortcoming N96 as it is too problamatic. As soon as I can I will be purchasing a Samsung Tocco or Samsung Soul. You have been forewarned. Looks ARE deceiving.
N95 - Not worth the money

Probably the worst phone i have ever had, the software on the phone is very buggy, crashes all the time. If its the camera you want go for the Sony Ericsson K850i has a much better lens.
Very good phone

I don't know whether some other users have had faulty phones, but I have had no problems with mine. It takes a while to get used to the phone and it's functions though.. well, it did for me after upgrading from a Sony Ericsson k800i, but after a week or so it really comes into it's own.
The gps works 100%, the battery life is good; even when using a lot of applications it lasts all day. When using it for basic calls/text/internet, then the battery lasts for days. If yours doesn't, then you have a faulty battery/phone.
The music sounds sub standard through the speakers though, in my opinion. I wasn't expecting 100watt output, with 500watt subwoofer.. but the mp3 sound is very tinny at times. The sound is fine with the headphones on though.
With the 8gb memory card upgrade, the phone can store many .3pgg films/programs, and on the right settings (using the right converter programs), the picture is 100% dvd quality.
The internet is very easy to use, and on the right price-plan it is a great thing to have. The phone connects quickly and seamlessly.
All in all, this is a great phone at a great price. Just make sure to get a screen protector asap!
awesome...once a few changes in the settings are made.

This phone is amazing! The phone only crashes if you leave too many applications open at one time (e.g. messages, phone book, internet etc...) If you close the applications before using another one your phone will not crash! As for the battery life, change afew settings (e.g. switch the phones network mode from 3g and gsm to just gsm, reduce your 'power saver time out' and 'light time-out', reduce the light sensor to minimum and change the packet data connection to 'when needed) and your battery life will last up to approx 4 days on 1 charge (obviously this is dependant on use, I use mine frequently to call, text, internet, music and get approx 3 1/2 days battery life). Buying this phone you will not be dissapointed, with the amount of programs and features available its a hit all the way!!!!
good phone but not brilliant

I really like this phone as it has so many applications that you never need anything else. I especially like the GPS as it has got me out of some sticky situations when i've been lost! The camera in my opinion is fantastic and so is the video player. The only down side to this phone is when it keeps crashing which can be very frustrating when your in a hurry trying to read a text or make a phone call and the battery life isn't very good, i now have to charge every night at least which isnt very inconvenient.
Worst...Phone...Ever!! (seriously)

On paper this should be a contender for best phone ever, sadly in reality its not. The hyped GPS fails to ever work and it would hardly ever get a 'lock' on my position, when using the GPS in a car it always lagged behind me by half a mile (thus making the sat nav feature useless!!)
The phone has a terrible battery life and needed charging constantly.
The internet facility was appalling and constantly crashed.
Phone itself would freeze or switch itself off on a regular basis. Come on Nokia - How on earth did these problems get neglected??
Makes a nice doorstop though..
