Ive had this phone a few months and I don't really like it to be honest. Its not a bad phone but too fiddly and buttons small - always catching the internet button and also the same button on the opposite side. Texting is slow as the buttons are a funny shape been skinny so not ideal if your like me and text all day long. Im going to buy a k800i instead and sell this one. The camera is ok but the phone is that thin that when you press the camera button to take photo it moves and you get blurry pictures. I have not had the sound issue, but have had the phone locking up on me and the keypad flashes on number 3 and 6 when the battery is going flat (not supposed to do this!)
Well, QUALITY, GAWD HELP ME!

Well, great phone got it for my birthday
chuffed with it, loaded up some music for my birthday
and well, first tryed the music, the earphones poped straight away, not the best start, so then bought new headphones, second pear, not bad. then after a while, after putting this phone in my pocket, the buttn, just came off like a bit of paper, ruined, so rang vodafone up,a nd they imideatly sent me a new phone back, got and the button fell off again!, in the end i gave up, got a refund and bought the SAMSUNG U600. hope this helps people into not buying it!.
Many good features, but sound not one of them.

I have had this phone for nearly 11 months now, (on contract). The overall quality of of the phone is good, easy to use texting and easy navigating. However, one feature that really bugs me is the quality of the ring tones. The number of calls I have missed because I didn't hear the phone ringing, or even feel the vibrating.
On another note of caution my phone has recently taken to switching itself off although battery life is fine.
BE WARNED!!! This phone has major faults.

Please also read the reviews of Deepaa and Stripysocks, as i have to agree entirely with them about the faultyness of this phone. I too bought this phone although on a contract direct from the provider and i was quite happy with it at first especially when using the camera and the ease of uploading pics on to the computer and the quality of the pictures. However about 4 months into having this phone (and just long enough not to get my money back!) i too experienced the same problem of the phone just randomly knocking its self off. Another two months down the line and its still doing it plus i now get the problem that its started just freezing at times when i try to access the contacts by any means and once i arrow down it shuts off and i have to re start the phone!! No good if you can't access contacts how are you supposed to make calls/text - which is its main purpose. However i do like Sony Ericsson phones as have spoke to others with different models who don't have this problem so i've just ordered a K800i - which i'm told are great.
not a bad fone!!

Got this phone on contract. Its a great phone. Very reliable. With its 1 meg card it can hold loads of track and photos. Camera is very good quality. Only one critisium would be the MP3 player. For some reason if you download tracks from an album on this phone it will not play them back in the order of the album. Its not just this phone, the same happens with the Sony Errisson equivalant slider type phone that my wife has. It can be annoying when you are used to hearing you favorite albums in a certain order. Other than that I cant fault it.
happy

Everything you've heard about this phone is true - it is great! Very slim, cool interface, good walkman software, etc. Unfortunately it also has an extremely serious design flaw - after a while it just starts switching itself off randomly! Not a usual shutdown either, it just cuts out altogether. Every single person i know who has bought this phone has eventually had the same problem and one poor friend is on their 3rd handset and it is doing the same thing. It's nothing to do with what network you're on because between my friends four of the networks are covered by it.
I strongly urge you not to buy this phone! But if you must....i don't suppose you'd consider taking mine off my hands would you?
ps. I was going to give it 1 star but out of recognition for everything else it does right i gave it 2. If it wasn't for the switching off problem i would have given it 5 as otherwise it is a great phone.
50/50
