I bought this phone in Feb 2008 and had to have it repaired 4 times by the Sony Ericcson repair centre due to cracking keys. I was told once that versions of this phone made after week 40 would not have the keys cracking problem, however mine did although being made in week 42. Sony Ericcson refused to do anything except continue to repair my phone until it could not be repaired anymore, and although I loved the phone and its features, I could not have purchased a worse phone. Thanks to play's return policy, I got a refund for this ridiculous phone.
Please be careful, the keys crack constantly and becomes very irritating.

I got this phone for christmas 2007, and i couldn't be happier with it. i originally wanted the other sony ericsson (the one that shacks) But i got this one instead and im so glad, i usually get really bored of my phone within a few months and want a new one but not with this one. yes the keys did crack, but i sent it back and within 2-3 days i had it back and havent had a problem with it since. its such a great phone and it looks really good to, i also like the fact that i have never seen any one else with the same phone as me, i feel unique. And since i have found out that the phone i originaly wanted plays up ALOT, and i no sooo many people with that phone.
i highly recommend this to everyone who considering buying it.

As soon as you get the box open the phone looks fantastic and mine has worked well over the year I have had it but now it is starting to freeze and switch itself off which does get annoying

i got this phone for my bday in september 07 and it is still as great as ever
fair enough i was kinda bummed out when the keys started to break but after a day( actually a few hours) you just dont care. so far now on mine the 1234679 and that symbol that looks like a naughts and crosses table have snapped in half but i dont notice.

This phone is just brilliant as you can set the theme to what you want and the lighting effects are really cool as you slide the phone open the sides will light up. Also the themes can change when day turns to night or when the weekend begins and when you slide the phone open you will reveal a brilliant 2mp camera and this phone fits in to your life really well. A must buy.

I really like this phone and the functions are everything you would expect from Sony, great camera, easy to use, looks good however I recieved this as a christmas present and 4 of the buttons had cracked by the 26th and by the 8th of January one had completely fallen out! It also has very limited memory and does not take the old style memory card holding only 1 song and 20 pictures. It is a good phone if you don't intend on using it.

Best phone yet moving pictures, side that light up! but I have only had it four days and a key has cracked!!! but it is still an excellent phone!

This phone looks great and the illuminating sides are really cool and make the phone stand out from the crowd BUT after having the phone just over a month all of the keys have cracked in half.

So be warned that this is a problem with this handset. Although once this is sorted its still a nice phone.

This phone is amazing! I really did fall in love with it straight away, only problem being the keys all splitting within a week of having it! Apart from that, the quality of the camera etc are really good and the quality of the sounds and videos are really clear too.

Does anyone know if the menu's on this phone are flashed??
because thats what i really want the phone for
flash menu's mean the icons are different?
