The Samsung G600 packs a punch with an astonishing 5 Megapixel camera, auto focus and flash. The compact and sleek design is perfect to take anywhere, and you won't need a separate camera. In a world where image is everything, you need a precision camera that can capture style and form in high definition detail and vivid colour. The Samsung G600 5 megapixel not only comes with auto focus for ultra crisp shots, but it also has a power LED flash that captures night-time shots. The camera works just like a digital, allowing you to make setting changes for more interesting photos. Choose from panorama, mosaic and macro and then, with a push of the button, share your images using the camera's built-in editing and printing features.

 Great, But not the Greatest

Let me start out by saying that whenever people see this phone, they want to know what it is

I've had 5-6 people stop me in the road to tell them about the phone so far

as has been said before, the 5Mpx camera isn't all that it seems, on the phones screen its pretty standard but once its on the computer its a wounderful quality

as has also been said before, the pc suit does NOT work with windows vista, ALTERNATIVELY i take out the memory card, put it in the SD adapter and plug it into my built in memory card readers (which most pc's should have now)

the phone itself is excelent, not too complicated but not overly simple, there is a new media player which is mind blowing and automatically updates when you turn it on. the buttons are pretty standard.

the phone comes with a tiny bluetooth headset which works great, no complaints there. but the media headphones are not so great (their the earbud ones with the little rubber bits) and they fall out my ears quite a lot. although pleasently samsung provide you with a headphone adapter so you can use your own headphones

hope this helps

Top 100 Mobile Reviewer

First off, Battery is an improvement on previous samsung phones! i used it for 4 full days and it was still on 2 bars to my surprise (but dont forget to charge the phone for 15 hours before using it for the first time!). Despite what some are saying, the megapixel difference is actually noticable when seeing the pictures on your pc, my gf owns a k800i but the samsung clearly comes out on top for crisp clearer photos (especially in daylight) but of course only thing lacking is the xenon flash and i didn`t find the auto-focus that great. The video recording is great too especially on 640x480 size. I also own the Nokia n95, the quality isn`t that different unless your talking about indoors in which the nokia comes out on top but the nokia n95 also has 30fps and the samsung has 15fps, but the g600 video quality is still great for a mobile phone and better than most others. Anyway, this phone is stylish and superior to most others out at the moment and i look forward to the g800 coming out next year which should have a xenon flash!

 Good over all

Previous phones, Sony Ericsson K800i and various Nokia phones of 2mpx downwards quality

Good points:

1. Love the amount of changes you can make to the colours and appearance of this phone. You can edit all the colours with fine precision

2. Slimline, fits in my pocket easily.

3. Menu system is easy to use and well laid out.

4. Picture quality is excellent, if taken outside!

5. Dynamic desktop is amusing and a good conversation piece.

6. Speaker is loud and clear.

7. Auto-contrast is a good idea!

Bad points:

1. Texting is a little slow, takes a while to catch up with what you are typing

2. LED Flash is pants, forget taking decent interior photos, K800i wins on that front as it has a proper flash

3. Image editing is limited on phone

4. Software did not load on my XP machine, had to download it from the web. The CD just crashed!

5. Charge is not clever, I think most phones are not that good any more as displays are larger and clearer. Get approx 2 - 3 days out of my phone. K800i would last 5 - 6 days with same use.

6. Quite a heavy phone and whilst slim is brilliant, I have almost dropped it so many times whilst trying to slide it open, its a bit of a slippery fella!

7. No foward facing camera, so you are not able to do video phone calls!

 The Best Samsung Phone Ever

I'm used to Sony Ericsson, as my previous phone was the K800i. I love that phone and my choice for my current contract phone would have been the K850i if it looked better. So i decided on the Samsung. I love everything about it - The camera is incredible for such a small phone, does the job nicely. The themes, dynamic desktop and even being able to choose menu transition effects make this phone feel so much more personal to you than alot of the other models out there. The mp3 player is excellent and the supplied headphones create a good in ear sound and are perfect for drowning out screaming kids on the bus or in the shops!

All in all, a fantastic phone, well worth the purchase to all seeking a new, up-to-date and futureproof model. The price on play for the SIM-free version just makes it that little bit more worthwhile.

Amazing Phone! but with one small problem
