The first one i bought had to be replaced, completely froze which is apparantly a common fault. Replacement works fine though thankfully :)
Nice but has a few bad points

I love samsung, i think they make some great stuff and more to the point their products normally never break. I upgaded to this phone as at the time it was the best on the market.
Its a great phone, with some great features but it does have some cons.
The weight of the phone is actually quite heavy.
The 5mp camera is rubbish, the pictures arent clear at all, very grainy which is a shame.
You can only select 4 messge tones and they are rubbish.
When your texting, the handset wont remember over about 20 words you have created which can be fairly annoying.
Once you get past those annoyenses then its a great phone, definately worth buying if you want reliablity.
Very Reliable

This is an excellent handset, for this price you couldnt get a better mobile phone in my opinion, extremely reliabel, excellent camera, i suppose the only downside is that it only holds 200 texts.I'v had quite a few other phones since.Samsung u700, Samsung Armani (the P520) however I keep end up going back to this phone. So much better than a touch screen too which I think was an awful idea.
Meh, its ok i souppose!

I have read the reviews above and i totally agree. I've had my G600 for about 8 months. The cover scratched within the first month and now looks tatty. The only thing good about the predictive text is you know the next time you go to use it it'll be off. It doesn't remember any new words i put in and its now taken to turn itself off then on again when i receive a text! An all round average phone with a few software problems, looking for a good sony ericsson now, any ideas??
Nearly but not quite good enough.

I'll start with the good things. The phone looks nice and seems to be very sturdy. It also has plenty of functions too. Radio, camera, mp3 etc. The main reason i bought this over my preferred Sony Ericsson is that this camera had a flash on it. I wish i hadn't bought it now. The phone is too slow to keep up with quick texting and scrolling through pictures etc. you either spell everything wrong or go ten places past where you want to be. Most of my complaints with this are only small things but they all add up. Predictive text turns itself off when it feels like it and will not learn words that you type in. The camera could be a little better picture quality. 5mp is a good size camera but it's the lens that lets it down. The more items you put on the memory card or the bigger memory you put in slows the phone down. You only have 4 message tones to pick from and all of them are terrible. You can't even use a personalized one. All these things are only trivial but add them all up and i wish i'd stuck with a sony.
Average Phone

Ive owned a G600 for 6 months now and the FINISH is poor compared to my D900 which did not mark or scratch at all, the silver/grey finish has come off at the top, looks tatty quickly. CAMERA is poor, Nokia Carl Zeiss phones are far superior, photos on the G600 are clear but definition is not great, lens quality is poor.TEXTING does not store new words properly which is a pain. Overall a good easy to use like all samsungs but not the best they have made, I would not have another one
good phone but terrible battery life

I went to this phone after I tried out the Sony Ericsson K810i(see review) for a week. I'm glad I chose this phone, and heres why.
1. I'm used to the Samsung phone layout.
2. You get 1GB of memory(Micro SD card) with it(Worth £7).
3. You also get a Bluetooth ear piece(Samsung WEP-210 - Worth about £30).
4. Call quality(normal and speakerphone) is lovely.
5. Customizable themes and profiles.
6. Takes pictures and records videos very well.
7. Very slim.
8. Decent Battery life.
9. Looks very stylish.
10. Camera is protected well.
11. Extremely easy to use and everything is very accessible.
What I don't like about this phone:
1. You can have custom Ringtones but for some reason your not allowed to have custom Message tones. You have to pick out of a small selection.
2. The camera (In my opinion) is not really 5megapixel. However, I have emailed Samsung enquiring about my views on the camera and they are standing by their statement of a 5MP camera. Yes is does take great photos but it's nothing compared to the camera on the Sony Ericsson K810i. Pictures are only really good if the lighting is good.
Overall: 5 Stars! I really like the Samsung phones. I can safely give this five stars because the pros outwiegh the cons. Also because I don't take that many pictures with my phone and I have grown not to care about the lack of having customized text tones.
Hope this helps!!!
Amazing Phone! but with one small problem
