The Walkman player turns your phone into a powerful portable music device. Organize your favorite music via playlists, listen to audio books and access podcasts.

Shake Control
The easy way to change your tune: just shake your phone. With Shake control activated, press and hold the Walkman key, then flick your wrist. A vibration lets you know that the track has been changed - a new song from your current playlist is selected randomly then played automatically.

I have this phone on 02. I chose it as an upgrade from my w810i. I orignaly upgraded to the k850i but realy realy disliked it and got this insted. And im realy happy i got this instead.

Its realy easy to use, the screen is massive and brilliant quality. The camera is good for 2mp but it does not have a light. The sound quality is also very good and it came with a 1gig card which holds pleanty of music.

Overall a very very good phone. Cant fault it one bit.

again sony ericsson has dazzled us with features packed into one superb design and small sleek finnish. i prefer sony ericsson to other makers because they are slim.
this phone displays this well, with the new 'shake control' feature there is no need to use buttons to change your song, just a flick of your wrist!
by the way if you have trouble with the zoom try switching the shoot mode to VGA and then try zooming instead of 2MP.

First and foremost I must stress I am all about style and build quality when it comes to phones, and this phone has both in abundance. Its magnesium frame and almost rubber feel just oozes quality. As for the phone itself, it has everything you would expect from a Sony Ericsson, the new media interface with the accelerometer looks the part and works really well, big screen is perfect for viewing your pictures on too. The screen is made from a hardened glass to prevent scratching. I must admit I do obsess over keeping the phone in good condition, but the hardened glass has helped me in that not one scratch has appeared in 6 months use.

Some of the perceived downsides are a supposedly weak camera, yes its only 2mg pixel but I still find it takes fairly good photos, if you want your phone as a camera replacement then obviously this is not the choice (k series perhaps). I have seen some reviews stating software crashes, I experienced one such just after having the phone around a week, however I used the built in update service, updated the software and not only is the menu lightening fast now but it has not crashed since.

This phone is as close to perfect as you'll find at the minute (25/04/2008 11.42)

Yet another walkman phone!
This is the successor of the mighty W850i, and improved alot since then! Firstly the main feature of the phone is the walkman and what can I say? Amazing, quick, easy to use and gets right down to music without any problems, the sound is crisp and is one of the loudest phones i have heard, remember thought loudness does not mean quality! But that's whats so good about this phone it is loud and has the quality for every music genre!
The build quality is great aswell, it doesn't feel fragile unlike some Samsung phones, however the buttons do creak a bit, but your not going to notice it when you commute from home to work.
The shake control is great instead of sliding the phone open and press a button, just simply shake your phone and it will change the song!
With a large screen you'r not going to miss anything!
Messaging is easy and quick just like every other SE phone.
So is it worth waiting untill a new phone comes out? Not really, if you like your music alot then this phone is the one for you, though you might want to buy a 4GB memory card to hold more music and maybe some external speakers to annoy the neighbours :) Try the MBS-100 bluetooth speakers!

This is my first Sony Ericsson Mobile which I received this morning from Play. Usually I am a Samsung/LG kind of person but I am delighted with my purchase of the W910i. A few people have complained about there being no zoom which depends on each kind of person, same for the light. Neither of these are a problem for me however because on my last phone (LG Chocolate) I never onced used the light or the zoom anyway. The best features I have found so far are the Shake control and once again I am delighted that it is so easy to use. Also the free 1gb flash card they include is brilliant, as I have shopped around previously and come across some steep prices. Overall, no phone is perfect but I will definately be sticking to this phone for quite a bit of time to come!!
