Just bought one and this is excellent value for money!
And looking at the previous review - YES - IT DOES WORK VERY WELL WITH PS3!
This bluetooth headset has a great style, pattern and is very lightweight. It's cheap, nice to wear and lasts for years. So why not get one now?
i bought this headset with the view of using it for the ps3 online, i have to admit that it works absolutely brilliant, i was amazed by the quality, especially for the price.
I had no trouble connecting the device, and it has provided trouble free usage ever since i first turned it on.
But, and it is a big but, having spent the whole day out shopping for AAAA batteries, in stores such as Currys, Comet, Argos, and Boots, without any luck whatsoever, and now having bought some from my local village electrical retailer, after a two day wait while they were on order, at £2 a battery, i can honestly say it is cheaper to spend £20 on a rechargeable headset, in the long run.
In summary for £5 you can't go wrong for the price and it may well be worth that just to have one as a standby for emergencies, but for heavy usage forget it.
Got one of these for my mate to use with his ps3.. Hes really happy and has no idea i bought it for £5!! Perfect crime!!
Set up and connection to mobile straightforward and seems to work well.
I have not used other bluetooth headsets before, so I cannot compare, but it sits comfortably enough and the earpiece sound is reasonable and speech well understood, as is the sound at the receiving end. I used it in the car with voice-dialling and no communication problems with my old-ish diesel engine running and going at moderate speed.
I am sure there must be better sets around, but at that price it works well enough and will suit my occasional use of the device probably better than a re-chargeable battery set.
