Sony Ericsson MBS-100 Portable Bluetooth Speaker

At first i was thrilled with the sony ericsson mbs-100 speaker. It was loud and the sound quality was exceptional. But after 4 months of using this prduct about once every day for a short while the quality of this speaker dropped dramaticaly.
After the first month i noticed that the sound quality wasn't as good as when i first bought it and the loudness had decreased but i didn't take anynotice.

Now my this speaker is extremely faulty and unreliable. Some of the reasons for this are:
The sound quality is terrible when the speaker gets louder, in fact when it is playing at full blast all of the songs are shockly bad.
The speaker only plays at about half the volume compared to when i first bought it.
The speaker constantley turns itself off, i can't even listen to it for 20 mins without it turning off.
Sometimes it disconnects from my phone.

I know that it is the speaker which is the problem aswel because the effects happen when i use my friends phones.
Other people that i know that have had this for about 6 months aswel also say that they often encounter problems with the device.

If you were intrested in buying this i would make sure that there is some kind of gurantee or warranty.

This speaker is 1 of the best portable speaker i have heard in my life, when i first saw it i thought it was going to be a normal sony ericsson speaker (like the little square ones that come with some phones) and when i opened it i thought wow its a little bit bigger thn i expected but when i put it on charge then played it, the sound quality when its on the highest settin is amazing, if you want a speaker for all your mates to share this is this is the 1.

I have been lucky enough to have heard this speaker in all its glory at a recent expo, and what you have here is one of the coolest design innovations that houses a great racket inducing speaker.
The battery life can last up to 6 hours (so i was told) plus its range is really quite a distance.

Just a quick word of warning I purchased this speaker last week only to find its not compatible with my Sony Ericsson W810i walkman phone. Pretty annoying. It's not enough for your phone just to be bluetooth enabled it must have the A2DP streaming technology as well. Most Sony Ericsson phones released in last few months seem to be ok but recommend you check Sony Ericsson website - this lists which phone models are compatible with MBS-100 speakers. So can't comment on whether speaker is any good.

Well, i didnt know how big exactly it was gonna look or sound like.
I wasn't dissappointed.
It sounds pretty awesome! For some this size its amazing.
It's about the size of those Football shaped easter eggs!
Battery Life is decent, and being Bluetooth compatiable,
it will certainly work with MOST new mobiles.
No problems with it as of yet, and Play.com, is probably the cheapest place you can find the MBS-100.
