I have owned a Lebara sim card for at least a year, i put it in a unlocked spare handset i had.I make international calls to Bangladesh,Dubai & USA.When the need arises to make call abroad i simply dial the number & hey presto im chatting away, immediate connection, clear calls. To top up, its dead easy, all leading supermarkets sell top up for Lebara, starting from 5 pounds, you then dial the number & enter the voucher code to activate & top up.Trust me using this is dead easy, for the person who has difficulty in topping up, i suggest you don't have common sense. My 8 year old even knows how to use this. Its a very convenient & handy purchase,Great buy i made.

Its Not Hard To Top Up?

I bought a couple of these sims for friends, as they have relatives in Europe and they used to buy those voucher type things to call them. The ones you dial a number before dialing the number you want to call.
Both of them now use this sim and are very happy with it, and unlike the previous review about it not being easy to topup? You can top it up at any paypoint or over 90,000 places in the UK.
Its just as easy to top up as any other pay and go sim, it even has a postcode finder on there website to let you know the nearest shop/post office/bank that you can top up at.
Recommended for anyone who only has a mobile and have have relatives abroad, there are cheaper landline type numbers but for mobiles the prices are very good.

  Avoid at ALL costs

I'm so tempted to send this thing back to Play.com. Reason? It's nigh-on impossible to top this thing up. The official website makes you go through a lengthy registration providing your PUK code etc and when you go to top up, it doesn't allow your credit/debit card.

It's a joke! You think they'd make it simple to top up because they would be making money from you, but no, it's extremely difficult. The only other way is to go into a store and ask for a till reciept for this sim card but having tried that, they refuse because they do not know about Lebara.

So i'm sitting here with a sim card that promises great value calls that i cannot use. Extremely disappointing. Avoid at all costs.
