These are cheap for a reason. I've used various different fm transmitters and these are the worst, as other review said used to slight hiss but these just aren't powerfull enough, tried the whole range and no joy.

Set up easy enough. But I find it a little temperamental.

If I am travelling long distances it obviously gets affected by other radio station in different areas. You can switch to the other frequency in the memory but its no guarantee that will work any better!

A few tips:

Hold it in your hand to get clearer reception! Not the safest thing to do while driving.

Make sure your phone is turned up to full volume!!!

At the end of the day it's a charger as well.

Only a very a slight hiss, noticeable when nothing playing

Not being able to find any good reviews for this item, I took the plunge. This is the first FM transmitter that I have purchased for myself, though have previously bought one for someone else. Compared to the i-TRIP I though that this item worked better. It may be due to signal in the area, but I found that it worked well without any interference. Haven't travelled out of local area yet.

FM transmitters are renound for a slight hiss, but this is only really noticeable when nothing is playing. Not quite up to CD quality, but no FM radio is.

On the whole I am very happy with it. Worth noting the extractable cord which extends and retracts so you can choose the length to suit. Charging you phone helps too!
