These are by far the worst network on the world. Constatnt problems with both modems and their service being abismal. For your sake dont waste your time. This particular modem went back 8 times due to tacky faulty parts. This is the worst of them

Have had one for nearly two years now and never had any real problems. It may depend where you are - reception has been a bit iffy in London, I've been told, but they're are upgrading that now. I live in the North-West and signal has never been a problem except when going up to the Lakes - which is only what I'd expect.

This dongle is great with any version of Windows from XP onwards but has been a problem for Linux as it has a built-in Windows driver. I gather Linux has finally found out how to get it working but I'm not sure how involved that is. If you are considering this for Linux check up on driver support.
