this piece of kit provides a great service, 3's service area is the largest of all the UK networks (91 % population coverage, soon to be 98 %), the PAYG tariff is another added bonus, some other networks are starting to add this service but not at good value. as for the 30day expiry date its the same as a fixed landline, it is clearly labelled on their webpage and lets face it, if you don't use up your monthly download allowance on your fixed broadband you don't get extra next month do you?
Great kit, Great Service however you need to check the coverage checker first and the speeds vary from half a meg - 3.6MBps soon to be up to 7.2MBps (with certain dogles, excludes this one)

Bought this for my partner for xmas but opened it early to try it out.
Great.....
Would definately recommend it to anyone not wanting to sign up to a contract.
I am now going to buy another 2 dongles for myself and my grandaughter.
You can change how much you want to spend each month so if you are going to use it a lot buy more credit just for the month that you use it then the next month go back to £10.
You can use it everywhere it is very versatile.
Very good value for money.

I have used this modem for over a year whenever I am away from home with laptop. It is brilliant! yes now and again signal can be poor - so can your mobile. Its fast and its good. Don't regret buying look at other rates for similar...then you wont complain! Happy surfing.
