i would chose any blackberry over an iphone now
the customer service is excellent and and problems are sorted
also the text system, where it shows the text messages sent between you and the contact like instant messaging
also you get used to the qwerty keypad really fast and i wouldnt use anything else now!

It took a little longer than normal to receive this but it was well worth the wait.
After using Nokia's for soo long the Blackberry Pearl 8100 is quite simply an amazing phone, You do have to be quite technically minded to get your head around the funtions, Ive been after a Phone that can hold a fair amount of memory as i do like my phones to double up as MP3 players, this has it all, I put a 4GB SDMicro mmory card in and it works amazingly well.
Ive customised the phone and its got some great upgrade features.All in all well worth the price.

I have always been satisfied with the usual bog standard mobile phones,that was until i got my blackberry.
since i have gotten this phone i will never have another bog standard phone. what it lacks in gimmicks like touch screen dialling etc it makes up for in its software and easy handling of the phone.
so if your thinking of getting this phone i give it 2 hearty big thumbs up!!!
