Why do people complain about the software of this? Just plug and play and use Window's built in bluetooth manager. The size of this dongle as well amazes me. It's in my laptop as I am writing this and I have to admit, I cannot tell it's there! For £5 it's a steal.

For five quid this is a pretty handy little laptop dongle however I cannot get this to install properly on either vista or xp!
The software on the disk is horrible but is the only way to get it fully installed!
When it is simply plugged in to my laptop it appears to install correctly but when i connect my phone it discovers new services that cant be installed.
I bought it to connect my bluetooth speaker to my laptop however xp does not support audio streaming so wont recognise the device that is why I give it one star.
Bit of a nightmare process. However for simple file transfers it works fine!!

For less than 5 squids to your door you cant go wrong.
If your using xp just plug the dongle in and let windows sort the rest out . (DONT USE THE SOFTWARE) its a waste of time and space on your pc..I also had this running on linux but it will not work on linpus netbooks...Vista is also the same as xp (Dont install the software that comes with it.) let vista do the job.
