Sony are notorious for using M2 memory cards and most of the "covers" that cover the card slot have M2 embedded into them. Check this. Otherwise, apologies for sounding insulting but make sure you try it the other way around as they ALMOST look like they go in sometimes but wont until you flip them

most sony ericcsonns use m2 cards not micro sd. a couple of sony phones can use either eg k850. youll probably have to buy a m2 card
