LG KC910i Renoir / Sim Free / Unlocked / 8.0 Megapixel / Touch Screen Mobile Phone

May I just say - this phone is amazing! I've had a couple of 5MP Camera Phones recently, N95, G800 to name a few and to be honest, I wondered when getting this if the added 3MP would really make a difference. Does it? Yes! The camera on this phone is quite bluntly amazing, I've given away my 7MP Digital Camera to my younger brother who has to make do with a 1.3MP phone. Away from the Camera this phone comes with a cracking 8GB MicroSD HDSC card, yes, its not built in which is a disappointment I must say, however supporting HDSC unlike many phones allows you to add up to 32GB microSD cards and more as they come out. Personally, being on Orange and not O2 I find this a significantly better phone than the iPhone - sure both have their drawbacks but I find that this phone even packs a better music quality due to the added Dolby Mobile which makes any song sound amazing! As for the 3.5MM standard headphone jack this phone unfortunately can't boast a internal port unlike the N95 or the new N96 (this phones main rival). Fortunately, LG have given thought to this, and include a 3.5MM port on the adaptor included in the box along side their 3.5MM Gold Plated Earphones.

Personally, I find this phone amazing - there are a couple of drawbacks, such as the fact there is no 3.5MM headphone port in-built and this phone runs on LG's own software, not Symbian or Windows Mobile which I always find a drawback on touch screen phones.

Fortunately - the MP3 player, the Camera, the quality of the phone and the touch screen make up for its few minor downfalls

A brillent phone i havent found a fault yet its a good size weight , screen etc its better then the sony c905 and the samsung go out and buy one before they all go

Great build quality and design.
Camera is awesome.
The dolby sound is nice and clear.
The divx movies look superb on the 3" sharp screen.
Wifi works a treat and takes 2secs to setup.
The touchscreen and software is excellent unlike some reviews i have read, so dont be put off by the iphone fanboys.

Great phone packed full of features and is priced really well in my opinion - buy it!

Got this phone and I guarantee it will not disappoint you. Slender and everything a phone should be today. A definite i-phone alternative. 8gb of memory more than enough to take advantage of 8MP camera,video functions. Especially like how LG have improved menus and functions of predecessor -Viewty which was my last phone. I dont see how you can be disappointed. Love it !!!!

Just got my renoir a couple of days ago. First touch screen phone I've had so wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say this phone is excellent. Very easy to use and soon got used to using the touch screen. Texting is very quick and easy once you get used to navigating the screens and I like the way you can flip the phone to use qwerty keyboard layout. I chose this phone because of the ability to connect to my wireless network at home which I managed to get working within about 5 minutes which was great. The camera is also very good with lots of nice features.
Before with unlocked phones i've had trouble receiving MMS, but I've managed to sucessfully set this one up and can now receive MMS and e-mail from my blueyonder account.
The only downsides to this phone in my oppinion are that:
-The flash isn't as good as i would have expected
-The stylus comes in a separate holder rather than being integrated into the phone.
-You have to buy the memory card separately - it does not come with the phone.

If you are considering getting this phone then I would definitely recommend it.
