Griffin AirCurve Acoustic Amplifier For iPhone 3G / 3GS

It's pretty astonishing that this amplifies sound so much. I love the design, very cool. It's convenient, fun and cheap.

This was bought for me as a gift at Christmas and I love it. I had been looking for a speaker for my iPhone for my kitchen whilst I cooked which didn't require a plug or would be too big. This is perfect and so genius. It sits on my windowsill and sopports the phone and plays my music loud enough for me to hear It over the cooking.
It is simple in design. Clear but not really cheap looking, and is lightweight. It doesn't improve the quality of the music as the quality is down to your phone, but it doesn't pretend to.
It is perfect for holidays also. Having read the mini II review they sound awesome but I'm going to stick with this as there is no charging required it will work 100% of the time.
You do need to remover your iPhone from it's case for it to sit in the cradle, which is a bit annoying if you have a hard case to remove. I have an incase slider one which is designed for the base to slide off which makes it easy.
don't buy it if you want base or sound perfection. Do buy it if you want a light weight, go anywhere, work without electricity, effective speaker.
Personally I love it.

For the same price you can get an x-mini 2 and experience somthing awesome...

This is really handy, as it charges and plays music! i use it to sync my iphone 3G S with itunes. Plus it doesnt need a power source to play music, and it make it louder but there is no bass. If you need a dock then buy this because it is cheaper than the apple one and it amplifies your music.

Does what claims to: boosts your iPhone/iPod touch so it's loud enough for a party/the park/an alarm clock etc. With no need for a power supply.

This piece of kit is the mutts! It is well made, lightweight and compact. Don't expect too much though as it isn't powered in any way and purely amplifies the sound via an acoustic chamber. (pretty much like cupping your hand around the speaker on your iPhone).
Ideal for putting on the table at barbeques though! Could also be used on bedside to ensure the iphone is loud enough to wake you up! Can be charged whilst in the dock via your usb sync cable.
