To start of with, I've owned many different phones in the past couple of years. I've had the N95, N95 Black, N96, E90, Tocco, iPhone (which I lost) and others before that.

At first I wasn't sure about Blackberry handsets but I actually wish I got one sooner.

The best feature about the Blackberry to me is that you can use instant messenger's like MSN, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, MySpace, Blackberry Messenger and most importantly Facebook. The phone is like a mini PC, 2G internet (really fast, like 3G), the internet is really simple to use too.

Blackberry messenger is really good, you will also get to choose a Blackberry email address.

Blackberry has a website accessible from your handset where you can download new applications like Facebook, Games etc....

Because you can do so much on the phone you will find that you use it a lot so it is handy that the battery life will last 3 days (on average).

It has a 3.2MP camera which is okay, it has video capture too.

     Awesome Phone

It's a really good phone. Basically has everything you need on the go. It's so easy to set up email accounts even without knowing the names of your incoming and outgoing servers. Microsoft Outlook and other email service providers should learn a thing or two from them.

Even though it doesn't have 3G it still has a faster internet connection than my previous Palm Treo 500 which had 3G. Really good phone, but make sure you get unlimited internet access with it.

I have had this phone for just over a month - so user friendly!! There is not one thing I don't like about it - I have access to the web wherever I am. The photo quality is quite acceptable, as this is a phone!! I have previously had Nokias as they are so easy to use, my hubby has an i-phone and wishes he had gotten a BB Curve! Try one - you will not be disappointed.

     Something special

The 8900 is an amazing phone, sends emails, texts, makes calls, takes great quality pictures, videos, plays music, films and you can browse the internet really quickly. It's like having your laptop with you 24/7, you do everything with it and sync with your computer. I highly recommend this phone, never let me down. Always has battery and never crashes.

     GREAT! Business

I think this phone is great easy usage with the track ball e-mails are perfect and writing them is fast and easy with the qwerty key board there are loads of apps to purchase but its not as good as the app store on iphone. i would recommend this phone to buy but it is mostly for business if you want this phone i would advise you to buy the blackberry 8520 as it is exactly the same but with a 2 mp camera instead of four plus the 8520 has music keys for easy use. i would highly recommend this phone for business use but if you using it personally i would suggest the 8520 and save yourself some money
