Bought this for my Samsung E900 - just slid it in and off it went. Excellent value for money and works well !!

you might need a transflash ste111

The problem for the lg kc550 might be that it needs a transflash card. Play.com sell one called pny 1gb micro sd secure digital card which i personally know works for my phone, samsung l810v which is transflash.
