To coin a phrase "It does what it says on the tin".. it's a 16gig micro sd card.... and thats exactly what you get.... simples!

  Excellent card for the price

I have this card in a HTC HD2 running Android 2.3 and for the money I think that is a superb card, I get 6.5 MB/s write speed and 22.3 read. I've currently got 10 Gig of MP3 files and about 2 Gig of photos and this works fine with no drop out and no break in music playing. Don't think about it just buy one!

  Great for HTC Desire Z

Bought this for my wifes phone the actual size once formatted to the phone is about 14.87gb, this fitted absolutely everything off her existing mp3 player and more!!! There is no issues with loading it up although i would suggest loding it via an adapter rather than through the phone usb, just was quicker for me. This does not come with an adapter but at 12.99 is a bargain and a definite buy while waiting for the 32GB versions to become cheaper and more reliable.

  Great value memory card

At the end of the day, you need a memory card that works and that is affordable. At class 4 it delivers good speeds, and works a treat on my phone. Well done PLAY on bringing this to the table.

  Good price, terrible speed

I bought this card as I saw it was a bargain price compared to anywhere else. I also saw it had a Class 4 rating. I hoped that given the low data rate my Galaxy S uses even for 720p videos (around 1.5MB/s) it should be fine for using it for videos. After receiving it I found that it is unable to capture at this rate. It can reach around 500MB and then the video will suddenly stop with an error stating card does not support video of this resolution. Never had a problem with my san disk 8GB and could record videos well over 2GB.

Capacity it comes up as 14.89GB, which is a slight bit more than some other 16 micro sd's I've seen. However transferring files can take a very long time. Took nearly 3 hours transferring 6GB from my old SD card to this one, so be prepared for a long wait if you have lots of mp3's and other small files. Large files it's reached around 5 - 6MB/s peak but usually just over 4.5MB/s so essentially reaching that class rating.

In hindsight, I think I'd rather have paid an extra 4 pounds for the class 10 sd card over this.

  Bargain 16GB microSD

after 3 days I've ordered it arrived at last! Works fine did try the speed read/write performs as class 4. Worth buying for a bargain price. I use it now on my Galaxy S2. works perfectly!

Instead of some of the other reviews, im going to keep it short and sweet and just say this SD card is fantastic and works perfectly.

I used it to replace an old 2gb memory card in my HTC Wildfire and it worked perfectly straight away without formatting. Transferring files on and off of the card is speedy and the packaging was perfect with delivery great as per usual.

I bought the 16gb Micro SD (for my Samsung Galaxy S) about 4 months ago and it works flawlessly!
It doesn't have any problems as far as I'm concerned, holds a lot of information and never crashes.
10/10

This card has a bit of a mixed review. So I decided to do a benchmark test. And here are the results:
Largest test file 500MB
Sequential Read : 9.569 MB/s
Sequential Write : 4.102 MB/s
Random Read 512KB : 9.563 MB/s
Random Write 512KB : 0.647 MB/s
Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 1.180 MB/s [ 288.1 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 0.006 MB/s [ 1.4 IOPS]
Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 1.184 MB/s [ 289.1 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 0.007 MB/s [ 1.8 IOPS]

Yes, this card is in fact technically class 4. If you are transfering files from 0.5MB+ then you should get best performances. The downside is when you start transfering smaller files, read and write speeds go down(this is to be expected with all media storage) but this card under performes in this area, my class 2 cards perform slightly faster here.

In conclusion, if you're gonna use it for music and small videos then yes, this is a very good card.
If you plan on transfering 1000's of tiny files e.g. cache files, small text documents etc then be prepared for slight performance issues.

  not a class 4

16GB yes, but class 4, no way. Just tested it and maximum writing speed is 3.1 MB/s. For the card to be class 4, the speed needs to be at least 4 MB/s. Quite dissapointed
