Now that's what I call a good selection!

What a fantastic selection, and I recognise each and every one of them, which for a NOW! album is rare.

Music, like many things, is subjective and there may be people who disagree but I can honestly say I will enjoy every single track and can't wait for it to be delivered.

It takes me from my growing up years, through my teens and early twenties and even though I'm getting older (I'm 31) I can still appreciate new music, so I'm really pleased.

 It could be better if...

I bought the very first Now album, and the following 7 or 8, but then stopped. As for this latest, best of, 25 years special suggests, it's all very main stream, middle of the road, and a rather predictable collection of songs. It's the real reason why I stopped buying them. When the Now albums first hit the 'shops', they were full of the latest chart offerings, but also included plenty of songs that were never really hits, by not-the-most popular bands but still deserved their place on the albums because they were outstanding songs...a testament to that moment in time perhaps. Now It all seems to have gone...well bland. Magic FM anyone?
Don't get me wrong, I like some of these songs, especially on CD one, but still, even they have been spread across so many other 80's, 90's albums. The market has been saturated with them.
However, I give it three stars because Now has been a flagship compilation album through the years. Like the songs or loath them, it's a classic brand name that has stood the test of time, and still sells millions. I can though, still recommend this. There are plenty of worse compilations out there.
All I ask of Now is to release a special 25th year album celebrating the other fine artists that not too many people may have heard of, but have still made your albums listenable. You know who they are!!!

I have all 70 Now CDs and will continue purchasing them some albums are far better than others sometime one brilliant CD but dissapointing second CD. Brilliant for chart reference across the years much better than bying individual singles wait for the album and get most of the best ones together.

now on and on and on lol
