What you have to understand about this band is that they do not make this music in any way to try to sell records, they make songs that they like. Im sure the reason they set the band up in the first place was to allow them to get away with more 'out there' ideas than they could with biffy and succioperro.

Each of the tracks has something special about it, and i have barely stopped listening to it since i got it when it came out!

if you liked the singles well worth a go, and if you've not heard the band before, this album is easier to get into than the last!

This is a great album the only downside is that some of the songs do drag abit. However each song has something special about it and this has to be one of the most creative albums i have ever listend to.

While not being a huge fan of the format of their first record, I thought I'd give this one a try on the strength of Rubber Lover. While it's not a bad record, there are just too many forgettable tracks on here, notably 'Music Show' and 'Demon'. Despite this it's probably worth 8 quid for the tracks 'Heartburn', 'Erotic Robotic', 'Je Suis Un Funky Homme' and 'Rubber Lover'. Overall a bit hit and miss.
