- Third album from Canadian singer-songwriter marks a stark change in direction away from the folk-inflected pop of her first two outings. On this release she collaborates with hip-hop/RnB uber-producer Timbaland, and the result is a set of raw electro-funk, with Furtado laying down some of her most risque and explicit lyrics to date. Featuring guest vocals from Coldplay's Chris Martin, Latin American megastar Juanes and Timbaland himself, the album features the single 'Maneater'.

Nelly Furtado has certainly changed her style with this album, but it has worked well for her. The recent R'n'B influx of singles has produced a surprising amount of quality, and the singles on this album are certainly worthy of being recognised within that group.
Beyond the singles, there are a few other good tracks on the album. Te Busque is the standout track for me, which features Juanes. Never heard of him? I'm not surprised, but I promise you that most people have heard of him in Spain. Even if you don't understand Spanish, the tempo of the track certainly makes it worth a listen. The other tracks on there are not going to set the world on fire, but are all pleasant enough and none really stands out as being weak.

This is a great album, with a few brilliant tracks such as "Promiscuous", "All Good Things", "Say It Right", "Showtime" and "Te Busque".
I've given it 4 stars because just some of the songs are 'brilliant' and the rest aren't that great; they're just alright. I'd say it's still a decent album, with a couple of Spanish orientated songs, so a good mix.
great album!
