Basicly its a fact all her albums so far have been amazing! What The Hell song is by far epic! and Goodbye Lullaby is meant to be more like Let Go/Under My Skin... so its going to be amazing... this album has been way over due soo these 2 months better come quick or else :D xx

 A masterpiece with a theme

In many ways this is Avrils best album to date, a masterpiece with a theme.

This combines the innocent, pop sounding early days of "Let Go" with the darker, deeper, and more emotional side of "Under My Skin" with all of the powerful, indulgent pianno driven choruses that made that album so rich in sound and composition

There are some very interesting musical arrangements in this album and Avril has been given the freedom to help her find her sound. This album, given the theme is in complete contrast to "The Best Damn Thing" with only "What The Hell" and "Smile" to remind us of the best sounds explored in her last album.

The general theme which is present throughout the whole album is to try and look on the bright side of a bad situation. You can tell Avril has put her heart and soul in to this album and it is very meaningful and the result is something that is not too overproduced at all, rightfully subdued where it needs to be and really allows her voice to cut through the mix.

"Wish You Were Here" is not a cover of the classic Pink Floyd song, the only similarity are that the two happen to share the same name. This is an original song, and is Avril at her best both lyrically and vocally.

"Smile" is a very upbeat song witha very catchy chrorus, very original and possibly one of her best songs.

"Everybody Hurts" is not a cover of the classic R.E.M song but I do feel that Avril may have used that song as an inspiration for her song. The theme of the song is exactly the same as R.E.M's and tbh I don't think anyone could better R.E.M's version but Avrils version is genious, it really is amazing lyrically and vocally!

What The Hell! Avril's Fourth Album!

Well two months to the release of Goodbye Lullaby and I can't wait. If you've recently heared What The Hell and are severely dissapointed or let down #(Which you shouldn't be, it's awesome!) then don't worry because according to Avril herself this is the poppiest bubblegum song on the entire album. It will be good to se Avril have major creative inout with more then 1/2 of the album written soley by her alone.
If the rest of the album is as intoxicating as her others I can't wait to hear it!
